NEF Conference
A responsive conference website for the Nepal Engineering Forum's annual international event, built to handle registration, scheduling, and real-time updates for 500+ attendees across multiple tracks.
The Nepal Engineering Forum needed a conference website that could handle multi-track scheduling, speaker bios, and attendee registration without relying on expensive third-party platforms. Previous events used static pages that required manual updates and couldn't communicate schedule changes in real time.
A purpose-built conference site with a dynamic schedule builder, speaker directory with filterable expertise tags, and a registration flow integrated with email confirmations. The schedule component updates in real time and supports personal agenda bookmarking.
I designed mobile-first, knowing most attendees would check schedules on their phones during the event. The schedule grid uses CSS Grid with time-slot rows and track columns, collapsing to a swipeable card layout on mobile. Speaker data lives in a headless CMS so organizers can update bios and photos without touching code. Framer Motion handles page transitions and micro-interactions to make the experience feel polished despite tight timelines.
