King's College needed a dedicated site for their annual entrepreneurship conference that could handle a dynamic schedule, a speaker and partner directory, and registration, without relying on generic form tools or static pages that are painful to update between events.
A conference platform with a Next.js frontend and a Flask backend, covering event details, seven SDG-aligned subthemes, a speaker and partner directory, and a resource hub for papers and blog content.
The frontend handles the public-facing schedule, speaker profiles, and content pages, while the Flask backend serves registration and data endpoints. The design leans on a hero carousel, countdown timer, and icon-based SDG visualization to keep the dense conference information easy to scan on both desktop and mobile.
